    Fastest MPH in your ACRE

What's the absolute fastest anyone has gone in an ACR-E? We all know what ratings are according to the mags, was just wondering if anyone has gone faster.

I wonder what the fastest anyone has been in a Gen V to begin with. 175mph here.

178 with Arrow Controller only mod. At least that is what the other Viper said he was going and I was right behind him.

Chris, it's a short drive to "Canada" so you don't have to go to "Mexico" for high speed testing. You should take your 92 and 17 to test them both.

IIRC a Gen 1 will top out at 165. Is 177 still the top for a Gen V ACR-E?

My car is gear limited to 212mph in 5th gear, I've tagged the limiter a few times. With aero and what not I'm sure what exact mph it is but I'm certain over 200.

142 on the street. aero is full on at that speed and the car sits a good 1 1/2" lower. Things you didn't hit at 70 start to bang off the bottom.

Haha funny you chimed in as you were my prime example (when talking among other members) of ACR-E's that had the ability to do well over 177. My thought/questions are at what speed does the ACR-E create so much downforce that something becomes vulnerable to break? At 200mph you must be creating enough downforce to exceed weight ratings for tires, wheels, suspension components etc... Bad ass that you have been able to achieve that speed in an ACR though!!!

I think that's a very valid concern. I'd be curious to know to what speed Dodge has tested the aero in a wind tunnel. There is obviously some buffer built in, the question is how much.

177 mph and 201 is a colossal difference. Then again his car is TT. Double the HP probably. It has the power to push through even with all the down force

This thread is pointless unless you state what position the wing on your ACR-E is as well

Pretty sure 177 is still the fastest MPH for a stock ACR-E. as for the 92...it's gotta be faster than 165

Was hoping to hear that someone broke into the 180's with a stock car.

    142. 100% as it rolled out of the factory. Plenty left in the car but Hwy 127 isn't the best top speed testing grounds.

150 mph, wing in pos. 1

An ACR-E is going to need A LOT of road to get to 177mph. Like a couple of miles.

I thought the normal GenV reached top speed in 6th and the ACR reached top speed in 5th at 177? Did you change the rear end gears in your car?
