    Zerk locations onF R Suspension

Is there a listing of all of the locations specific grease and fitting styles for the Gen IV somewhere on the net.

I have a heck of a sound in the rear suspension since the uprights were replaced and I am guessing that the installer forgot one of the fittings or did not put enough grease in one of the boots. Luckly I can ge the car to creak and groan by pushing on the rear trunk floor and its definitely in the suspension somewhere on the passenger rear side.

Also are there anywhere else on the car that need to be grease that are not suspension related.

There are two at each corner on Gen III and IV Vipers. You may be thinking of the Gen I and II Vipers which had three at each corner.

Cool I have found those two already. Had something stuck in my head that there were three in the back.

Well that was fun. Got all eight of them and reset the ride height a bit in the rear with the scales. Checked the pads and car is looking good for a de day in about a month.

Car has never been this quiet before. Guessing they have all been dry for a good long while when the car was sitting before I got it. If you have not done it ever add it to your next service.

Got another suspension question but it need to go in a new thread as again my mind is slipping on setup.

    Very cool V10 & Steve.

Saturday morning I had the car up on a lift for an oil change and lubed my front end joints. Got this handy LockNLube doodad for my grease gun. Worked like a charm with NO MESS.

I was able to get to 3.. the lower rack and the sway bar end joints. Didn't see any others..
Guessing I missed the two for the suspension.

Tomorrow I'll be popping the rear wheels off for another coil-over adjustment (KW's) and E-Brake inspection/treatment. New tyres - new dynamic!
I'll keep an eye out for the Suspension Zerks.

    Thanks again V10 & Steve.
Good Lawd I love my Viper and love this Forum.

    Happy 4th to ya!

Anyone know how many Zerk locations there are on Gen V? 8? 2 each corner?

Anyone know? I know the suspension on the Gen V was pretty much carry-over.

I have used both Mopar Multi-Purpose Grease and Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease in the past.

If you've replaced the u-joints with greaseable ones.
