Trying a Dodge Viper 1994 LIVE

Hi,

Just drove 500 miles to try another Viper. Exhaust has a light stumble on the driver's side, perfectly smooth on the passenger's side. Everything else is fine with me and the price. Car pulls strong, no misfire.

Is it a concern? Could it only be old plugs? 40,000 miles, barely driven in the past 2 years (not even 100 miles). I'm sleeping at the hotel tonight and need to take a decision before tomorrow afternoon.

Your answers are very important for me. Canadian-spec Vipers are rare but I want to stay smart.

could be plugs and or wires etc... Is this "stumble" during idle? While driving it, putting your foot into it?

idle only? no miss during driving? No check engine light?

With the hood up, engine off, have a person slowly depress gas pedal FULLY while YOU watch throttles to see:

1. If the throttles open fully.

And

2. That the left throttle leads the right on opening. The left throttle MUST either lead or be perfectly synchronized with right.

If full excursion does not occur, push the reset the button on the cables while pulling cable rearward, then slowly depress
gas pedal to floor to complete adjustment. Then repeat test outlined above.

If the adjustment buttons have a screw through them, that means a "TSB" was completed...BUT, I have seen several such fixes fail over time.

No check engine, no miss!

Oh so I assume it could also be a throttle body adjustment, which shouldn't be too much of a concern!
