Picked up my first Viper TA 1 0 last week

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Tareque. I just picked up this beauty last week from ViperExchange/BJMotors. I can't thank these guys enough for their service, absolutely an amazing set of crew at ViperExchange/BJMotors.

I believe this car used to belong to @roebear. It's #31 of 33. Drove this from Texas to Florida.

I want to give a special thanks to @jdmuscle for helping me through the process.

It was a surprisingly pleasant drive, I expected my back to hurt severely during the 18hour ride but it was quite comfortable. The only thing that sucked is that I had to stop for gas every 220-230 miles.

I'm driving a rental Hyundai Sonata at the moment, and even it has an 18.5 gallon tank. I also managed 40 MPG today... all highway.

Over the weekend, I got 18.8 MPG... and I stopped for gas every time I had used 6-8 gallons. At least with a Viper, it's an excuse to get out of the car and stretch your legs.

My ass was sore getting out of the Hyundai after 7 hours. HAHA

Thank guys, this truly is a wonderful machine. You can't appreciate how well built these things are until you actually drive one. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to drive since I bought it back home due to shitty weather. Its supposed rain on and off for a week or so.

I know the feeling about the weather, same here in o-town but we have the best winters so its worth it. We're having a FL viper meet in September if you want to cruise up. (not sure where yet)

Tareque, congratulations on your purchase, it is a great looking car! The ride home with a Viper is a great experience, my ride was only 452 miles and had a wonderful time watching the reaction of other drivers when they notice the car. The bad weather will pass an you will have a great time at car shows and anywhere there are car enthusiasts. Welcome to VOA!

Thanks Rand, I honestly can't wait for the weather to pass. Yeah definitely had a lot of those too. People honking you down and giving the thumbs up. One guy actually followed me taking pictures/videos for miles and miles somewhere in Alabama.
