I'm in for dinner.
Thursday Night
Friday Night
Saturday Night
I'm in for dinner.
I once had a Formula Ford race at Lime Rock that was black flagged in the middle of the race. We all pitted and had to wait for a wedding precession to exit the church across from the track before they had a restart. So yes come on up Lime Rock is wedding friendly. Might even be a great destination for the bachelor party as long as me and Tony are invited
I'm in for dinner. I'm staying up there Thursday and Friday night.
We can make a big reservation at the boathouse Thursday night?
Doing both days now. I was supposed go to Thompson next weekend but they cancelled the event due to low registration, applied the credit to Limerock Day 2.
Anyone have any good in Viper cockpit video of some hot laps around the layout we'll be running?
I will be up late Thursday night so dinner is probably out. I will also be up there Friday night so I could do dinner Friday night.
I am driving home on Friday but I would stay for dinner before heading out.
We are running the "Real" uphill configuration. No baby chicane stuff sklimerock.jpg
I am still launching in the picture
First time doing a full track day for me. Any suggestions on stuff to bring with me? Any special preps I should do on the car?
Do you have fresh brake fluid? Ideally some DOT with a higher boiling point. I've been using Motul RBT 600 lately.
Tires are in good condition? (age and wear), good meat left on brake pads? Fresh coolant? Bring some fluids in case you need to top off.
Make sure you lugs are torqued to spec; I'll have my torque wrench with me if you need it. Also make sure you empty out your car of anything you don't need to bring with you. Going to want to empty contents before heading onto track.
Not sure if you have an up to date Snell helmet? Assuming they can be borrowed or rented for those that don't?
I'll be bring a bunch of my hand tools and air tank for tire pressure adjustments.
Of course, you got it.
I will have my race car transporter truck up there with tools, jack, stands etc. The track has air right by the concession building. It also has gas available as well
Remember you need long pants and long sleeves for on track

I am trying to register for the event and when I try to use the promo code, it says "This promotion is now over!". Any ideas?
Sun screen
Hat
Bug spray (OFF! works best)
Light clothing
Few spare t-shirts (if you have not been at Lime Rock in the end of August, its only a few notches below Death Valley ). You WILL be soaking wet.
Few bottles of water (NASA may or may not have it)
Spare pair of shoes and socks (in case it rains)
Few light snacks (cereal, protein bars, etc.)
Pressure gauge
Mechanical gloves (if you are going to rotate tires)
Torque wrench (if you are going to rotate tires)
Zip ties
Glass cleaner
Phone charger
Call Joe at NASA tell him you are my buddy and a Viper club guy. That was my fear this event is un muffled so it sells out fast. Or try it without the code and see if it goes through
