Sold my GenV Keeping My Gen2

After thoroughly enjoying my GenV for nearly 3 years I decided to let her go to someone who will hopefully get more use out of it. What an absolutely amazing car it has been. I love both the GenV and Gen2 equally but I don't think I'll get much use out of either one. I didn't want to sell either but it didn't make sense to have all that money tied up so I let go of the GenV. Some of you may know that I suffer from a rare hereditary progressive illness that has left my feet and ankles paralyzed and in braces that lock my feet at a 90 degree angle with my legs. While I can still drive both cars well, the larger Gen2 pedals are easier for me to operate believe it or not and there seems to be more clearance for my leg braces under the dash. I bought the Gen2 primarily because I regretted selling all of the nice 60's and 70's muscle cars I had in my teens and twenties and wanted a car that I could own and eventually register it as an antique and I'm not ready to give up on that. At this point if I am going to have a newer car that I use more, an automatic works better for me. Hopefully the Viper returns at some point with a paddle shift option.

Yeha if it's just random cruise you get to take I'd have to find it hard to keep cash tied up in the 5 when you have the fun 2. Good luck!

Charlie, sorry to hear you had to let it go. I remember when you and I were looking for our cars at the same time, 3 years ago now. Hopefully see you at Carlisle in a couple weeks with the Gen 2?

I'm not sure if I'll make Carlisle... If I do I will just drive up and back on Saturday. The GenII is raring to go as it was just serviced front to back and top to bottom with a new front gasket set and all fluids replaced. Hard to believe that almost 3 years have gone by since we both got into GenV's...
