    Looking for my first Viper

Hi guys, I have been looking at these cars for some time and finally gotten serious about buying one. I have been looking at the gen IV and V (GTS or SRT 10 models). It’s easy to see the difference in the interior finish but what is the major differences in these models. I’m leaning towards the gen IV as I prefer the real gauges and do not really care for the touch screen in the middle of the dash . Any input would be helpful
    Thank you Dennis

Dressed it was 825#,Bill, One of the questions I have about these cars are they comfortable cruising around at a casual speed or is the car such a beast that it’s a handful driving it around? Another question that may sound crazy, can you fit a hockey stick in the passenger seat leaning up into the back hatch area? I play pick up a few nights a week and was curious if I would be able to take it to the rink. The trunk looks big enough to fit the bag.

Hawk mine is stock so driving around cruising is very nice. Depending on what your driving now you may have to get use to the site lines and smaller windshield. I will say when you open it up it will remind you of the power it has with speed and engine music. Also you always want to let the tires warm up before testing the power on the street. Not sure sure about the hockey stick, but my quess is it would work. Good luck with you hunt and choices.
825# dressed out is a monster!! Congradulations on that catch.

The trunk fits a lot, a surprising amount in my Gen V. Pretty sure the center display is not a touch screen in any case.

I've city driven it, and even in bad traffic in Chicago. It's not overly harsh in street suspension mode. I'd daily drive my car.

I only have a Gen2 but I play ball hockey. I can fit my hockey bag with all my goalie gear in the back trunk and the goalie stick in the passenger seat no problem

The Gen IV has lots of footwell room and I'm sure you would not have a problem with the Hockey Stick. AT least mine is very comfortable just cruising around at a casual speed. But with just a blip of the throttle it becomes fun time!
