Need Help replacing Fuel Injectors and found an o ring Missing

I am looking for some advice on an issue that came up this weekend. While replacing the Fuel Injectors in a 94 Viper I noticed that one of the injectors that I removed is missing the lower o-ring. Has anyone been thru this scenario?

What scenario? Replacing fuel injectors? Or putting it back together with all the seals present? I would say it's all been done before. Yes.

But when was the last time you flushed your coolant?

I just replaced my fuel injectors. Dont worry about it just make sure the new one's have it.

I would not be surprised if the O-RIng is still in the port or fell into the engine. If that O-Ring was actually missing, all of your fuel would be dumped into that cylinder.

I apologize for the lack of content in my first message. The mentioned scenario is as follows. During the process of replacing the Fuel Injectors we found that one of the old Injectors that was removed was missing the lower o-ring. I believe that the o-ring has fallen into the engine. So my question is how should I move forward.

Little history on this, the motor would turn over but would not fire or run. I was told that the Camshaft Sensor and the Fuel Pump module needed to be replaced. This has been completed but the motor still will not run. Now it will fire and attempt to run but will come to a dead stop. The coils, plugs and plug wires have been replaced and the order has been verified. At this point I was then told that the Fuel Injectors needed to be replaced, they thought perhaps the motor was getting hydro-locked due to leaking injectors (this is what the Tech mentioned). So in the process of replacing the injectors we found the old Injector was missing the lower o-ring.
