Thanks for posting that up, I had not seen that before
Unless I've read the info wrong, the only year that his test car was available in that color combo was 1999. He claims to be testing a 2000. According to the Viper registry, 22 Silver GTS Vipers with Connolly Leather interiors were produced in 1999 and that combo wasn't available in 2000. Can anyone point me to any other info? That is the car I have so I would like to gather any more statistics on it if they're out there. All I've been able to find out is 22 of the 1999 GTS's came with the Connolly and you could not get stripes as an option if you ordered it that way. I like the look of the stripes so I added them to mine.
From my understanding...the Connolly interior only came in 1999 with silver..no stripes. (Or black..with or without stripes.)
The car in the video is not a 2000.
I love that this group is dedicated enough to notice and call it out
Could be the car was an export and licensed as a 2000?
Nope. That is indeed a 1999 Model. Good catch! [ I can clearly hear the idling 99 Cam....Non-CREAM-PUFF cam of 2000-2002.] Even Chrysler USA and Canada did some promo-pieces over 23 years with carry-over pix. "Timeless" looks!
and the 1999 Saturn is at the end of that pre-2000 video, further identifying the likely time-zone.

I love how at 0:27 he starts it up and immediately starts revving it
Cool Video!!
Mediocre driver test? My Roe supercharged 2001 GTS has nearly double the stock hp and it is easily controlled (unless you're a lousy driver). My low boost setting TT GTS is definitely too extreme and fast for 'normal street driving' though. 800bhp being easy to drive I don't understand why people have issues with only 450bhp?
