Dom Farnbacher posted this on IG:
"2017 Viper Crew for NürAttack. Thank you for all your support Viper Nation.
Also thanks to Bernie and Russ, as well as Kumho Tire, Prefix, Viper Exchange and Ravenol Oil.
My brother @mariofarnbacher drove a great lap today. Similar to my previous one weeks ago. But a bit quicker.

I'm hoping his use of the word "bit" has some sarcasm attached.

But he did say a "Similar to my previous one weeks ago" sooooo. Just being devils advocate lol. I think its definitely a sub 7 lap. It better be lol...Maybe this will fuel the friendly competition between the brothers and could lead to an even faster lap next week by Dom.
The suspense...
^^^The Ring people probably appreciate a real car doing a Ring attempt that isn't some custom made cheat machine!!
Awesome!!
Reality is that if they didn't go sub 7 I think we'd call it a disappointment given the 7:03 run with the circumstances previously presented.
Having said that, my money is on a 6:54....baller style...
Maybe we haven't heard anything because they're all busy drinking and getting shit faced...
Unless they had issues with the car, there is no good reason not to expect that the 2 straight hours of private track time could not yield a several second improvement in times from the lap time last month (which was on the first and only "flying" lap they were able to run). Just getting used to the car and comfortable with the flying laps, 4-6 seconds improvement (or more) is about what one would expect.
Remember, the big time reductions come pretty quickly as the learning curve is very steep with lap times (i.e. big gains in the first several sessions). After that, the time improvements are harder to come by. All of that said, 6:56 might be tough (a 7 second improvement), but it's not out of the realm of reality.
I keep refreshing the page......lol....
I have a good feeling.

Losing interest at this point. Seems like they may be trying to figure out whether another attempt next week can be done, and whether it would be fruitful. Or, whether they want to stand on the current time as the best effort and pack it in for good.
Could also be that the major sponsors want to release the information with an official press release.
Either way, it seems that everyone is under a gag order for now
Just guessing Road and Track will have the first stab at it.
I read his Instagram post differently. He said his brother drove a great lap and a bit better than his lap a few weeks ago. He didn't reference his own lap times today. Maybe that will be the surprise...
Per Dale Lomas of Bridge to Gantry, Road and Track Magazine is to reveal the time soon.......
^^^ Wow, very observant. Any easter eggs in there, like the lap time on the radio display??
