Help Need quick answer on Gen 5 Mirror

I don't have my car near me and just found out the 2 mirrors I bought off E-bay have different heights and lengths in the base. Could some one tell me if the BASE height is 1.5 or 2.5" high..TIA

The base that attaches to the door is ~2.25".
The stem of the mirrors are different lengths, and the passenger side is slightly taller.

Thanks Snorman! Yes this is the pass. mirror and its ~2.25 and ~5.25 in length while the drivers side is 1.75 and ~4.5 L.... Why are they that way???????

so the visibility is more consistent between both sides. On the new Ford GT the passenger mirror is actually a few inches further back than the drivers mirror
