ACR backup camera

Does the ACR make any audible noise when you get close to another object? Mine does not, yet my Jeep does, wondering if there is some setting in the infotainment cluster

My Ram has Park Sensors (in the bumper) front and rear, and beeps and shows on the dash, in addition to having my backup camera. They are separate from the back up camera, I believe. I don't think the Viper has park sensors...at least my 2013 doesn't, nor does it have a backup camera (it was optional that year).

Not sure if the 2017 Vipers have any audible warning. Good question.

I think vipers do not have this feature. The warning sound is controlled by the radars on the rear bumper of your Jeep.

mine does................ when i back up too close to something, i hear a thump.

No Park Sense with Vipers. Thank goodness as the sensors are ugly. Also no lane sensing, blind spot monitoring, collision avoidance or other unneeded nannies. Course you can always add "feelers" if you want.
