Info requested on the factory splitter and copies and coupe fuel door conversion.

1. Does the factory splitter or factory style replacement parts replace the plastic close out panel found on the verts and coupes under the radiator area, or does it go on top of it. I'm thinking of making an aluminum replacement for the current plastic panel until I acquire a splitter of some variety. I'm also interested in recommendations on aftermarket splitters. $6500 for the OEM part is a little painful.


2. I got the "conversion parts" for the fuel door, and went to go look for the instruction found in the magazine. The magazine is all sold out. and I can't seem to find a copy of them anywhere. I have searched both forums, and found NADA. Can someone who has it scan the instructions, or if someone is willing to part with the magazine NOV-DEC 2011 VCA magazine / instructions, I'd be happy to scan them into a PDF and make it so it's a public file then send the magazine back to the orig owner if they still want it.

There is a plastic close out that keeps the air directed into the radiator, it stays in place. the part that gets removed is the underbelly tray piece, this piece gets replaced by the splitter

Okay. I think I fubard the underbelly tray piece over the weekend. It's literally right behind the bumper on the underside of the radiator. Looks like a simple plastic panel. The panel appears to be bolted directly to the frame with some pan head torx or allen bolts.

The other site hid the install from non-paying members, wish I had this for a little help. Still a pretty straight forward on how I figured out how to install mine. If you have any questions on anything just ask.

Andy, PartsRack has a complete 2010 Surplus ACR OE Splitter new-in-box for THOUSANDS below $6500. Beware weak imitation clones that can and do 'snowplow' above 130mph or even less MPH in a headwind. Losing the splitter at speed can cause you to lose control, and damage or wreck cars behind you. And you could lose even more...
