    Inside Rearview Mirror Delaminating

Thought I would post this as a PSA, I noticed when we bought the car there were some black spots on the mirror but they got worse over time...the coating on the back of the glass that makes it a mirror was separating from the glass and by the time I had it replaced today under warranty (1 month left on 3/36) it was pretty bad. This is ~$800 part and the dealership had to search to get one.....check yours before the warranty is up, maybe mine was a fluke since I have not seen this reported here.

Good looking out. It has happened on a few of my FCA products.

Man that's shitty. As nice as the Gen V is, these few parts that "shouldn't fail" when/if they do are going to be an expensive fix over previous Gens.

Stuff like that should be lifetime... 3/36 or 7/100... it should be 99/1000 just saying that is obviously a FCA manufacturing issue with cruddy quality control and not so better business practices... surely not ISO 9000 or better yet 9001 series and/or 16949 series standards as advertised.
