    Bearings

    A friend of mine who has a ram srt-10 just spun the bearings on number 3&4,he says that it is a common problem on gen3 engines but the gen1&2 are better when it comes to the bearings so my question is,is that true? and why?i found this very interesting so to all answers i say big thanks👍😁

    not sure of the reason but its true.

    I heard the Gen 3 bearings couldn't use as much lead in them compared to aftermarket ones . Give Arrow Racing a call .

    The later bearings or the Clevite replacement are better. On SRT Ram trucks, the biggest cause of engine failure it have seen is running them low on oil or valve seat failures on high mileage engines.
