    Talking New Gen 5 Owner

Well I've had it for 2 weeks now, and 1500 miles so I figured it's time to introduce myself haha. I've long been an LS guy, and after owning many 4th/5th gen fbodies, and corvettes I finally made the switch to another platform. And I'm so glad I did. I love this thing, gets looks everywhere and is a blast to drive.

Car is a 2014 SRT, picked it up with 3k miles. Gunmetal pearl, upgraded seats/stereo, SWII wheels, and TA 1.0 package. Had literally everything I wanted, so it's perfect.

Still unsure on what direction I want to go mod wise. All the cars I've owned have been turbo'd so I'm partial to boost haha. But we'll see. Right now I'm just enjoying it.

Definitely an upgrade...having come out of the LS world myself, I think you'll find the Viper aftermarket is just a touch more limited, and the prices substantially higher. Modding a Viper definitely takes a bit more planning, or at the very least a much deeper wallet.

    Enjoy it!

Nice car! 2 weeks and 1500 miles? That's almost my annual mileage! Very cool. Combination of limited time and poor weather means car is in my garage more than I would like.

Haha, well I drove to Houston to pick it up, and literally that day I was going on vacation so I had to drive 300 miles to where I was catching a plane to. Then driving it back from there was another 500, and trips here and there during the week. It won't get this much miles from here on out but I definitely enjoyed the long rides with it.

It's actually more exciting to see a non "special edition" car picked up these days in these threads. All the same "special edition" cars become exhausting and this is a welcome break up from that. Congrats. The beauty of picking the model you did is that you can make it your own and drive the snot out of it. Enjoy it!!
