Starting to look back already 2017 What a year for Vipers

Fun now to look back on your buying or build process as the remaining new Vipers disappear. So much excitement. I got my order in literally hours before the window closed in late September!!! I've been keeping track of the Stryker Purples out there. Wish I could buy more of them...When I ordered my one of one Stryker Purple White Striped 2017 ACR I had seen another nearly identical one sold by Gerry Woods early on. There had to be a difference. Finally compared both window stickers today. His had Brass Monkey Wheels mine has Black Matte Venom Wheels. His had CCBs. I had tried to get the free upgrade to CCBs after the fact but Concierge said no deal. My bad...Other than that they are the same. No big deal just interesting. What is your story?

I had tried to order a ACR in 16 but missed the window. Had my eye on the orders for 17 and was ready to go. It's been a long time coming. I'm not a wealthy person but the Viper has been on my mind for years and it was finally time. Life had always seemed to have other plans for my money. Absolutely no regrets in my decision. Had to make a few sacrifices, but it was worth it.

Great stories. Bittersweet but will be exciting to see what VOA does in Detroit in August in conjunction with the Last Viper as part of the Woodward Dream Cruise week bucket list event... hope to see 100's of vipers there. I was at the last Viper off the line event at CAAP in 2010 and it was awesome.

Participating in the one of one program and plant pick up was incredible and will never be forgotten.

Mine was ordered/built with the wrong brakes too, but it got remedied before the car left the factory after the gentleman who ordered the car raised hell with the dealer. Just a neat little part of the cars history as shown by the build pictures provided by the concierge. One day the pictures showed black calipers on the assembly line, and the next day they were red. I imagine there were several cars built with the wrong brakes because they had to be selected, even though they were a free option with the ACR interior.

I feel like I really missed out on the concierge experience by not ordering through the one of one program. However, when the press release dropped in regards to the special editions, I knew I just had to have one. I had saved my 15k loyalty voucher for years waiting for that perfect moment. The rest is hisssssstory, literally.

You guys are very lucky! I wanted to buy new but I procrastinated and was slightly in denial that ordering would actually end and by the time I tried it was too late.

I owe my decision to order my 1 of 1 Stryker Orange to ? The $15,000.00 FCA coupon!! Thanks FCA for this incentive !!!

Do you mean to tell me that you were denied the free CCB upgrade even though you opted for the ACR interior because you didn't check the box?! What's the point of the concierge? Didn't they guide you through the process, or give you a heads up that the CCB's were free with the ACR interior? There's no way I would have let that one go. One of the reasons I chose my GTS-R over another special edition that was offered to me was because of the ACR interior and the CCB's, which the other car was lacking. I would have made them make that right! Squeaky wheel gets the grease times 1000!

I should have checked that box up front but my dealer had talked me out of it. I had no time to do research as I heard replacement cost was crazy...That was my fault. When I spoke to concierge later they said they would try and change the order but they said that rarely works...Well they tried but no change. Not a biggy for me I had the chance...Anyway it was all a great experience!

I was lucky, I had the time to study the list over and over when I ordered. I also had my IPad with me with my build on it as we filled out the order. I was taking no chances with something being wrong.

The upside for you is I bet that really makes your car a One of One and not just because you had a header red seat belt and the other guy didn't. Lol. I'm sure there are probably no others like yours out there and that is very cool. It will definitely be one of those cars...
