    Gen2 Jesel Rocker Installation question

Hey guys. I have a fairly simple question, for anyone that has Jesel sportsman rockers on their Gen2. There is a long and short section of rocker stand. I did not receive any instructions with the rockers, and Im not sure which section should go where. Looking at them Im not sure it matters, but I want to be sure. I tried looking at Jesels website, and they have instructions for their J2K series rockers, but I dont see them for the sportsman series, and the P/Ns are different for the rocker stands. So cliffnotes, can anyone tell me what orientation these stands should go?

I have the JESEL system on my Striker heads. Unfortunately I believe the spacing on the heads is different but I'll dig up my old literature and take a look.

Ok, I found my stuff but It's not going to answer your question. I have the J2K set up. All they provided was a torque spec. sheet. I remember the stands being similar to yours, and if I recall it was self evident when you place the parts on the cylinder head. I'm sorry I can't provide you the answer you want. One thing you should definitely check is that the rockers are perfectly centered over the valves. During assembly I noticed they were not perfect and sent them in for correction to Jesel. I'm assuming on a stock cylinder head like yours there should be no issue, but you should check.

I also have the J2K series, but if I were a betting man I would be willing to bet the cut out portions on the top are to clear where the valve covers come in (intake side). I would email Jesel to verify.

Thanks for the replies. Camfab mine came the same, I had a torque spec sheet but no instructions. Searching online I find their assembly instructions for the J2k series I believe , which is here:

I believe the sportsman series rockers for the viper with a 1.7 ratio are Jesel P/N KSS-647070, which I can find no instructions for.

Thanks for the reply, and yes I understand which way they need to go as far as not being upside down, but just wasnt sure if the shorter stand had to be left or right of the longer one. Looking at them and test fitting in both orientations, I don't think it matters. I just got done installing them, and placed the shorter arm on the right side, looking at the head. So rear of the engine on drivers side, and front of engine on passenger side. I checked the sweep of the rockers on the valve stems and everything looks great. I did send some emails though and will report back when I hear something solid, in case this question comes up in the future.
