    OBD II Codes for Check engine light

    Hey all after having a weird issue where my driver door would not close(Latch would not connect to striker, i ended up fixing the issue but immediately after that next time i started the car it threw 3 codes which will not clear with my OBD II Scanner..

    P2610
    P0514
    P0516

    Anyone have any idea the issues? Car is running perfectly normal.

    Did you disconnect the battery during your "fix" ?

    P2610....P2610-PCM INTERNAL ENGINE OFF TIMER PERFORMANCE


    P0514....P0514-00-BATTERY TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE


    P0516....Not found

    I had the P2610 over the weekend as I started the car after it sat for a few months with the battery disconnected. The code cleared on its own the next day.

    appreciate the responses guys, i think i will give Chuck a call and see what he recommends...it sounds like its certainly not anything major like shavings in the OIL!

    P2610 is a stupid code. It comes up when the battery is disconnected for any length of time. My OBD reader will clear it or it will clear on its own quickly.
