    POST: Rolex24 weekend

Well the Friday before the VOA put on a dinner that we had about 40 guests! including many people from SRT, and even Ralph!

    http://driveviper.com/forums/threads...olex24?p=26367

Then the race. SRT hospitality was awesome, Mark Trostle, Klause Busse and Doris were hanging out with us all weekend. Great people and a great race. I personally got about 2 hours of sleep for the entire 2 days. Myself and Anthony were even in the hot pit at the end of the race getting to congratulate everyone on a awesome job well done.

Looks like a great time! Wish I could have been there but I was shoveling snow in 10 degree weather.

Awesome - and great finish for the Vipers despite the challenges!

SRT Racing / Viper Racing is BACK! It's gonna be a great year!

What an amazing experience! Don't know where to begin. First, I want to thank Ralph, Doris, Mark, and Klaus for taking time out of their busy schedules to spend time with the owners. We really couldn't ask for a more down-to-earth, passionate, friendly group of people to represent SRT. They are all very approachable and always willing to answer questions and talk Viper. It's easy to see the passion they have for Viper just by speaking with any one of them for just a few minutes. I also want to thank Alex and the rest of the North/Central Florida VOA. Dinner on Friday was great, and very well attended. The SRT hospitality suite was first class, as usual. I took almost 1,500 pictures throughout the weekend. I'll post them as time permits. Here are a few to start from practice on Thursday.

Talk about nerve racking. I was worried nobody would show up and the dinner would be a failure... then BOOM, more SRT people than I could ask for along with more Viper people that i could have asked for.

^^^ This It just great to know that the people in charge of the brand are true enthusiasts and are just as passionate as ourselves as owners. These guys will sit and talk cars with anyone, it's in their blood. If you met these guys at a car meet you'd NEVER know they were brand execs. I've really never seen anything like it from an automotive manufacture. If you haven't been to one of these races make it a point to attend one. You will NOT be disappointed. I want to thank everyone from SRT (especially Doris because she got me chocolate) and JRT for this past weekends experience. Can't wait for Sebring!!!

It was the best race experience I've ever had. The dinner Friday night was fantastic.....met a lot of great people. And Alex, when quite a few people (including Ralph and Doris) are still there after midnight, I'd say it was a success and you did well.
The SRT hospitality at the track was top notch. The food was excellent, and the people working were extremely nice. As has been said here previously, you can't find a group of auto manufacturer execs who are more passionate about the products they make, or cars in general, than these guys. And they treat you like friends, not just customers. It doesn't get any better.

SRT also held a charity auction which was a lot of fun. I was lucky enough to be able to get a wheel that was used on the #93 and signed by all of the drivers. Can't wait to make it into a coffee table!!

I got one of those wheels to. Yours looks in a lot better shape than the one I got last year. LOL

Mine had a little more wear and tear on it from Dominik and a concrete wall. LOL
