    Bizarre splashmarks Help to identify

    Hi everyone,
Ive got some bizarre splashmarks that appear every now and then and I can't for the life of me figure out where the hell its coming from and wonder if anyone else had similar experience. They appear on both sides along the front sides and through the front side hood vents. See pics.
I washed the car on Saturday but havent taken the car out until today, having kept it in a dehumidified garage. Its slightly brown stained. I know for a fact I did not pass any puddles as its been dry here over the last week. Car is running perfectly fine, but just can't figure it out. Its happened quite a few time. Unless maybe some water pooled somewhere with the wash and with speed it came out-but it is rather brown stained . I really don't know. Any thoughts would be appreciated.splashmarks4.jpgsplashmarks 3.jpgsplash marks 1.jpg

Do they show up after you was the car...if so research previous threads, has to do something with water between the CF panels or something like that. A few have commented in the past and state it clears up after a little while. If not appearing after a wash, sorry have no clue.

    Almost looks like coolant.

Its been reported on several new ACR owners. Its a bunch of left over crap in the hood. When you wash the car a few times it will slowly go away.

A quick search. I think the ACR-E's do it more because of the vents? Not sure but its been talked about quite frequently.

Cheers! thanks for the link. Yes it does now make sense that its coming from in between the carbon kevlar bits. It is getting less but although my car has 1800 miles on it everytime I get the jet wash on it I guess some water gets into that layer and doesn't properly dry off and so when you driver it fast it all comes out. Well at least I'm not the only one!
