The changes to the driveline mostly came about because of an issue with the transmission, not going into reverse. Donato did his standard race prep upgrades to the transmission and the fluid was changed from ATF to gear lubricant. The production clutch was modified and the LSD upgraded to the gear driven type which really improved traction out of the corners.

Going to 18 inch wheels and R7 Hoosier tires was simply to manage tire wear. The Kuhmo's were faster but would only last about 3 sessions at Fontana (even with an asymmetrical alignment). The end result was a combination that would allow the tires to last an entire weekend. The new Viper is a very heavy car, that and the Aero Package make it very hard to manage tires. In fact the R7 tires are near the load limit.

The car was fitted with the proper safety items and track aides. Ross Murray rollbar, Crow Belts, Fire extinguisher, Full Race Keeper camera, data system and in car lap timer.

The brakes are factory carbon, with only upgraded lines and fluid. The custom CCW wheels have adequate caliper clearance but race rubber from the track needs to be cleaned form the wheel barrels every weekend or it rubs on the calipers.

We made numerous changes to address heat from the exhaust with headers and Arrow calibration, end result was no heat heat issues what so ever. Power was super consistent with the bolt on package.

The client decided to move on to a purpose built track only type car.
