Add me to the list of clogged OEM rads

Just got my oem rad rebuilt. Old one was so clogged that the core had actualy bowed and the end tanks were no longer square with the core and was a pain in the ass to remove between the frame rails. Upgraded it to a nice 3 row which I'll post shortly.

Here are pics of the old oem core removed and clogged to hell!

How the hell does that happen? Putting crappy water in the system?

I wonder how much it has to do with using the OE green antifreeze that uses silicates as protection. Also, it could be not flushing the system often enough and not putting fresh antifreeze in to ensure the anti-corrosion additives are at an adequate concentration.

I am not an expert, just some ideas from my reading.
