    VOA slithers down the 1 2 mile wannagofast 5 20 5 21

New event for the club this year. Wannagofast North Carolina 1/2 mile shootout. The events is 2 days but Saturday 5/20 will be the day the club plans on attending as a group. This is an amazing experience that should be on your bucket list. Even if your not running, you will see some of the most amazing cars and speeds over 200mph. This event is going to have alot of vipers racing and in attendance. We should have an area to group together. The track shuts down for lunch so we will all eat together also. There are no more passes for racing unless you purchase someone else's and there's unlimited spectator passes. Which cost $20 each I believe. Any questions send me a message or review the link below for wannagofast event details.

I won't be able to make the dinner, My daughter's ballet and tap recital is that day @ 7 pm so I have to be there by at least 5:30 , which means leaving at like 2-3 pm.

So I set up a reservation for us at 6:15/6:30 at el ranchito restaurant. They have plenty of parking for the cars and trailers. Travis said he has ate there before a commended it. Also 10 minutes from the event, so no-one will have extra travel.

Ron, awesome, Daniel was somewhere in that range. Matt did well with his stock GTS 153 or 154, best I could do in the SRT was 151. Will post some vieos shortly. Hope today (Sunday) is a lot cooler, my AIT were as high as 136...but I had fun.

This morning was cooler, but much more humid. I could only muster a 156 at 8:30. Also, I finally tried the launch control with my R888's.....still useless.

I believe my setup is exactly what ViperPete has when he ran at Ocala, and our speeds were basically identical.

I could only do one pass since I had to leave early, and I hit the rev limiter in 2nd and missed 3rd, still did a 148.9 which I think would have been around a 153 at least if I hadn't messed up, it was fun seeing al the other vipers and people I hadn't seen in a while, hopefully i'll do better next time.
