Was trying to find pricing info on the Pirelli P Zero Corsas. Looking for a set for my G4 ACR. Anyone know if Woodhouse or Pirelli are still offering that discounted pricing and contact at Pirelli if so? Thanks.

Believe the program is completely over. It was extended quite awhile , but our good friend Dave Colletti is now over at Falken Tire, and he had a lot to do with helping us all out. Not sure if the Officers of VOA can negotiate another program for us , but sure believe it was a strong seller , as I know a lot of folks ordered them per Dave.
How about getting a group/club discount on the new R888R????
I 2nd the motion!
LuLu needs new shoes.
I woulda been happy getting the R888's but the rears are sold out now. So R888r's are gonna have to do.

I have Big Willow about 1.25 hours away. The thought of driving there, then doing an all day HPDE class and then driving home..
I don't think so. Uh uh. This is gonna have to be a two day trip for me.. with a 4Star Hotel somewhere in between.
Maybe one of the high end desert spa's.. and a massage .
I beginning to see how this could work out!
But new Toyo's first..
What sizes? Did you find stock Gen 4 ACR sizing?
They're going to make the R888R in stock ACR sizes after all. That's awesome!
For those not tracking their cars the Pirellis or Super Sports are a much better choice for daily drives, cruising, weather, etc. imho.
Thank you guys so much for mentioning this. Initial pricing on these is not bad at all. Hopefully they're pretty decent. I was getting ready to run Trofeo R's on the front and the GEN five ACR Kumhos on the rear.
Add me to that list.
I was all over trying to figure out what I wanted this year, looked at the Rs, but found the sizing issue you did. Decided to buy 4 ACR Kumhos from the dealer (They had a buy 3 get 4th free deal) and running 19/19 ACR wheels all around on my '09.
Not a good idea at all to run two different brands, you would be much better off running the Toyos all the way around.
I'll be running the R888R's now that they are an option. Didn't have any other higher performance options earlier except the Corsas (which I hear are slower than Trofeo's and Kumho 720 ACRs and the Corsas are about $2k for a set) and didn't want a full slick that I couldn't drive to the track on.

The Toyos are likely slower than Trofeos and definitely the Kumhos. If driving to the track the Corsas are the best in the wet, if that is a concern where you live?
Not worried about rain. I don't have far to go from my house to the IMS road course...maybe 20 min. I've also heard that the Trofeo's are amazing, unfortunately not available for the rear of our cars. The G5 Kumho's are still 19" only for the front. We were between a rock and a hard place wanting DOT track capable tires in Gen 4 OEM wheel sizes until now. I'm not a good enough driver to warrant slicks and additional spare wheels and the inherent hassles of transporting them when they aren't on the car.
Well heck if no worries , get a set of R7 Hoosiers and drive 20 minutes there and back. Used to drive my Viper about 70 miles to one area and back, and 45 to another , and they are DOT legal. Crazy Bob Woodhouse, years ago, drove his Viper all the way to Topeka ( Heartland Park Topeka Raceway ) and back after an event --- that is 3 hours away, ha.
Good luck , sounds like a set of Toyos or R7s would work well for you if you mainly want to track. Let us know what you think after your first event?
A lot of folks are hoping the new R888rs are a big improvement , in more ways than one. Makes no sense to buy a decade old design if the new Generation is around the corner and seemingly available now , it appears.
Bill, I'll definitely report back. I'm not a hardcore track rat...but like to get out there from time to time. The main reason I'm needing the track time this season is to get the waiver for 2018 for the Silver State Challenge to get out of the low speed classes. Without the waiver, your first Silver State Challenge you are limited to 110mph class or below. I'd like to run the 130mph class minimum. Maybe 140.
ACRucrazy, that's a good option. I recently purchased a custom set of 3 piece wheels and now 2 sets of tires for the car so I'm in it for about $10k for wheels and tires already Over the past couple months so was adamant about OEM sizing.
