    Oil pressure

    My oil pressure gauge reads the same when hot and cold and it stays in the exakt same spot all the time,i am no mechanik but isn't it suppost to be a different between hot and cold engine?

    Does it move (to zero...) when you turn the engine off? Have you tried a scan tool to read the sensor? If that PID is available with a scan tool.

    Yes sir it does,should have wrote thati have not used a scan toll.when i start the engine cold it goes up to the exact same spot every time and it stays there.it shows nice oil Pressure tho..

    About 3,5 bar(this is a euro spech viper),about 55 psi?correkt me if am wrong

    replace the oil sender and see if it changes,if not its the guage,cheap diognostic

    It depends which oil weight you are using. Mine reads same hot and cold with 5W50, but hot pressure is lower than cold with 5W40.

    Thanks for all answers!will put a new sender inn just to be sure👍.just posted another thread about glowing manifolds,i guess i learn by the day owning a viper.😁
