What a great turn out! We had 14 Vipers in attendance and a couple members brought their "classics" too! The weather was fantastic, the cars looked stunning, and the company was even better. We had every generation of Viper represented....from Paul's 1992 RT10 to Jeremy's 2014 TA!!! Henry and Jannie brought their scales so we could weigh their orange hardcore ACR against Jeremy's orange TA.....the results....the TA was over 50 lbs lighter...and the TA includes nav/radio and carpets!!! Way to go SRT!!!

My pics are below. My camera was acting up. I apologize for the blurriness some but I salvaged all I could. Thank you to everyone that came out!

Really disappointed I couldn't make it, but I got plenty of seat time in mine today. LOVE these "Winter" temps in February; it was partly sunny & mid 60's here in Race City USA today. Tomorrow even warmer. I'm sure I'll catch up with you all sooner than later.

I will correct Jeremy a bit since I was the one that did the scaling and did some quick calculations in my head for an on the spot estimate. I don't trust manufacturer's claims on curb weights so I wanted to have a real data comparison between the 2 different as delivered generations of Vipers.

I have now had the time to go back and do accurate calculations. Here are the results:

So per these calculations the 2014 TA is 9 lbs lighter than a 2009 hard core package ACR. Sorry Jeremy that my top of the head calculations were off some.

Big kudos to SRT for deliverying the TA with all of the content for 9 lbs less than a hard core package ACR - which should be the lightest from the factory version of any of the Gen I - IV Vipers. An as delivered weight without fuel of 3253 lbs is fantastic from my perspective. This is real progress from my perspective as an engineer.

    Way to go SRT!!

As a newbee to the area, I managed to go to the old store - I blame Google - and never did make the event. I'll try again the next time.

I Bin, sorry Google steered you to their old location. The new place is maybe a 20 minute drive from their old location. Brian included their address at the start of this thread, and it was useful as Mayhem's own website still shows their old location! In Mayhem's defense, their website is getting a major overhaul now and should be available shortly. Their new site will have a much better shopping experience, updated location, etc.

Just to make sure I understand you correctly...were you asking when it will be possible to get a subscription to the VOA magazine? Thanks.

Definately my bad. I went after the name instead of the address. Not the first time my "quick action" lead me down the wrong path!.

Yes, I am asking when the magizine subscription capability will be up.

Hi I Bin. I'm sorry to hear you didn't make it to the dyno.

Yes, a magazine subscription will be offered in the next month or so. Of course, it is automatically included with a club membership if you decide to join. Member subscriptions are scheduled to ship in early April.

Will keep my eyes on the site for announcement info.

    Thanks
