How to ship Viper Tires USA to Canada

Hello guys, i need to ship a couple of used tires from Greenwood, IN to Toronto, Canada. The problem that i ran into is the insane cost if shipped by UPS or FedEx. USPS does not take the tire due to its size. Does anyone know if there are any normal shipping companies who can do shipping USA to Canada without charging for a "1st class seat" on the airplane to haul 70 pounds on a truck one way.
    any ideas are greatly appreciated
    Thanks

Not sure about to Canada but I shipped a set of 4 wheels and tires (Viper size) via FedEx and the price was reasonable.

Fedex online quote was between $203 for a 3 business day shipping and a special offer of $19,037,130 for nest day delivery for a 500 mile shipment of two tires lol. The UPS wanted $240

I've shipped to the U.S. Best solution I found was to ship via FEDEX out of Buffalo or Niagara Falls (U.S.) It was about half the price and no border red tape to deal with !
I'll be at the AGM if you want to chat more about it .

I've shipped bigger/bulkier parts within US via 'greyhound'... might be worth looking into it; not even sure if greyhound runs in Canada...

Greyhound is always a good choice. I have shipped several items from wheels to Jeep off-road bumpers. Don't know if they go over the border or you can pick them up in the USA.

    Honest to god.
Using UPS or FedEx across the border is the biggest rip off going.

Use USPS or Canada post. Or in this case, Greyhound.

Ship them to Parcel Donkey in NF New York its 2 miles over the boarder. Drive there pick them up and all you pay is taxes coming across which your going to pay anyway. Have done this many times it saves brokerage fees which is well worth the drive.

Greyhound does not ship US>Canada is it really there are just two companies who are available and reserve the right to gouge an average person?

    Crossborderpickups.ca

Have them shipped to your address in Niagra Falls NY and then they bring them to Mississauga for a very reasonable price.
