I let a kid video review my GTS

A local kid was drooling over my Viper at cars and coffee a few weeks ago (it was a mostly Pony car kind of C&C, so mine stood out), and mentioned he started a Youtube channel and was trying his hand at video reviews. I offered to let him review my car even though it was filthy, needs a serious paint correction at this point, and I haven't gotten around to it yet. This is the second one he's done, and his first video in which he was driving and commenting on the car, so be kind. Feel free to give him some *constructive* criticism in the comments if you have any. Guys like him deserve to see real success with this kind of thing, since YouTube car reviews are mostly dominated by trust fund kids whose parents bought them whatever car(s) they wanted.

Not too bad, but he seemed to be shocked that he was driving such a nice car to the point where he had a tough time concentrating on his video tutorial. Looks like he had a lot of fun making the video, which is great. Very nice of you to help him with this as I would never let anyone drive my car. Lol.

You're a brave dude to let a random kid drive your car. Lucky guy!

As for the video, agreed with above. He was in too much shock and took away from being objective and providing sound feedback.

Love the sound of your viper!

I figured if he was from Liverpool and didn't steal it, that it was a good omen. I was sitting shotgun and walked him through it. I just hope it helps his channel out a bit.

I think his reaction was more a reflection of the average person when given a chance to drive one, as opposed to the bullshitter lazy "journalists" that do nothing but complain about issues that the Gen 2 had.

Someone should invite Matt Farah to review their Gen V. He's done a 1 Take on a TA before, but an SRT or GTS model or even an acr model would be cool.

I'm here to testify about what it's like to drive an ORANGE Viper in SoCal. It can be absolutely insane at times.
    We gotta roll sometime.

How dare you interrupt this critically important and serious thread??? Seriously though, sharing the experience of the car, by letting kids sit inside or touch it with their poo-stained hands, taking strangers for a ride, or letting friends and family drive it... it enhances the ownership experience by making other peoples' day.

    Dethred,
You did the right thing. I'm in the process of trying my hand at writing reviews/magazine articles about cars. That gentleman will own a Viper one day, thanks to you and the time you took to let him do his thing. I have tremendous respect for you.
