    Jeep Trackhawk

    While I'm disappointed more wasn't done to change the looks of the hellcat version (owning the 2012 SRT and now a 2014 SRT, it's getting silly to have the 3rd one I buy to have the exact same interior and exterior...), still love the power though! I've been bugged them about this for 2 years when I heard it was "maybe" happening. Blank check waiting.

    This MAY influence me to get rid of my Gen1 Jeep SRT8. Not sure, as this is still my favorite body style and I love how the exhaust exits out the center like my GTS.

    Lost out on my bid to have them call it a HellHawk, as everyone calls us asking about the Hellcat Jeep. Hopefully the public warms to Trackhawk, but in my opinion Dodge did a much better job of changing the ADR to the Demon-- strong name recognition. Hellcat is as widely known , already , as the name Hemi, so sure made more sense to me to use that idea and flip over to the Jeep? Trackhawk and Trailhawk are just too close for consumers to recognize the name difference , I believe?

    I do like the HellHawk MUCH better!!

    Any idea what these are going to cost?

    Looked great in person at the auto show, but really disappointed that the awesome red color they had on display won't be offered to the public. I was slightly disappointed they didn't go more aggressive on the outside too but I wonder if that's an attempt to steal buyers of the other hi-po luxury SUVs that may want something more understated so to speak?

    I think all the guesstimates are in the plus/minus 85K area . We are a huge Jeep Dealer so I have been asking enough to become a pain to those at Corporate, but the vehicle is , frankly, about a year late.

    Thanks for that Alex. I totally agree about the interior/exterior design fatigue. Sitting with my '14 SRT GC and trying to decide whether I jump into the 2018 or wait a year for the 2019 Trackhawk. Wondering if the '19 will have some changes. Maybe Bill can comment?

    I know they moved the SRT exhaust outbound due to complaints about towing. Guess they moved them back? Much cooler there anyway.

    WOW! They went to 4 pipes! But I think this setup still allows for a tow assembly.

    Just wish you could install some roof racks. Still have to use it as the "family" car. Yep ... a 700 HP family car!

    I just wish they'd let us configure a Jeep just like back in the good ol' days - set it up with whatever off-road options we want, and then pick the engine and drivetrain that we want. If I could build something similar to my current Jeep (lifted, bigger tires, in-cab adjustable suspension, Kenne-Bell supercharger) I'd be all over it. I just can't justify a low ground clearance Jeep with track tires - I live out in the sticks, with a lot of off-road terrain on my property, and I do a lot of back-country fishing and camping, so the Jeep needs to do what Jeeps do best.

    That said, a 700 HP Jeep is desirable
