We have another new director joining the leadership group! As you all know, Adrian is finally "retiring" from club duties due to new work demands. We again wish him a fond farewell, and thank him not only for his great service (and success) as current Sponsorship Director, but also the many months he had offered to keep doing the role until we found a replacement. Luckily he didn't have to wait too long, but it was a wonderful gesture on his part. Adrian, you've been there from the beginning and single handedly shouldered the sponsorship area yourself and built it into what it is today. You will be greatly missed!
I want to now announce our new Sponsorship Director, Brian Oppenheimer! Brian has been a Viper owner for over a decade and a member of the VOA since it started. He previously worked in the Fire/EMS field, and has since relocated to live in the Florida Keys. He was formerly a CoUtWy region member and is now a member of the South Florida VOA. Brian stepped up to assume the role after volunteering himself to the club, it was perfect timing and a great fit. He's an enthusiastic guy and a great communicator. As Sponsorship Director, he will take over the reins and work with the well over 30 existing VOA sponsors, in addition to all the past and future ones that we interact with frequently. This is a significant role for the club as it creates connections between members/vendors, generates revenue, and continues to centralize Viper related goods and services so they're within easy reach. I want to thank him for his time and wish him the best!
And if you or someone you know would like to volunteer for club leadership roles, let us know! We've built a very large leadership group of over 50 people who are responsible for running the club. Every little bit helps to provide diversification, ownership, and attention to detail.
