Congrats! Can't wait to see new videos! I'm glad I bought my Viper from Bernie and glad Andy is there for everything else I need!!!
There's gonna be some hurt feelings on the streets of Houston in the near future. Not that you haven't already.
Damn that was fast. I know you said in the near future. I'd love to see this car in person sometime and maybe get a ride.
Congrats Alex you'll love it and cant wait to see more kill vids from you all the best !
Crazy awesome!
I'm with you on that. I have HPTuners and know how to tune with the software, but I don't like how it's utilized in the Viper. I don't trust it. You're not getting an actual read from the stock PCM, you initially are overwriting the stock programming with HPTuner's code. Do not like that at all. Plus not all of the tables are available? No thanks, not for the money they want for it. If I ever mod my car it will be using the Arrow racing pcm. A shame though, I would love to use HPTuner's and tune my own car the way I want it.
alex:
Hope you have that beast ready for the Sunday fun run and your costume picked out, have loved my cars VE goodies and hope your ready to experience more power underfoot.
Richard
Awesome. Love what you've done with the car. This will be the icing on the cake.
I wish H&C could pass smog here in Cali. Would love to have a cammed viper.
Can’t wait to see the new setup tear up the streets Alex!
It's a good group over there.
Always someone faster! But it should be damn strong for an NA car.
Anytime you want
Will be there with bells on
Its comin
Congrats! Any chance you will have them take a peek at the bearings while it’s all apart?
Motor has been inspected, cleaned, and re-assembled with the Stage II build. Engine has been re-installed in the vehicle and is a few accessories short of firing and break-in. Here are the additions;
-CNC ported heads (larger valves, upgraded springs & retainers)
-VVT Delete (Fixed cam with higher lift/duration)
-Upgraded pushrods & lifters
-Stage II tune (re-flash Arrow PCM)
The turn-around time on this has left me speechless. I dropped the car off 24 hours ago.
Amazing pictures, amazing turn around time!
I have zero concern with the main bearings if that's what you're referring to. There have been multiple oil tests on this car to look for bearing material and contaminants and zero were present. Please don't tell me you buy into this social media hype in regards to the bearings.
They did however, inspect and measure everything that was necessary, like cam journals, lobes, etc. All was in ship shape.
I buy into the factory admitting a debris issue, not Facebook posts from shops. I was curious as to what you meant by “cleaning”.
Looking forward to new videos

We have 82 of our Heads/Cam cars running around to date over the last 2 years and have not had one single oem rod bearing fail to this point. This includes about 15 or so of those builds that are literally track day only cars. Not saying it can't happen but we have enjoyed exceptional reliability out of these builds. We have seen some some funky cam journals and had two failures relating to the camshaft but in both instances we took care of the rebuild for the customer.
Ben Keating, Dick Winkles, and Lee Carducci did an incredible job putting these packages together.
Look forward to watching Alex have some fun with this car, and it really makes me miss my blue 15 Viper
Andy
Alex we just fired it up for the first time! No drama, time for some heat cycles and she'll be ready for pickup!
So awesome! VE certainly has it figured out on these HC installs. That turnaround is nuts. Moving about as quickly as a factory race team does in pulling motors, disassembling, reassembling, reinstalling, etc. I've done that job and the crew at VE is really moving. Can't wait to see the dyno comparison.
^ Can't wait to hear and see this fuggin beast do work!
Nice! I want this and the trac active shocks.. Please do a review on the Toyo's when you get them. thanks, Greg
