Oyster car is part of our ACR Solid Edition. Extreme Aero, ACR interior, Black Wheels. All the Carbon Fiber packages/x-brace, 18 speaker HK, custom car cover, black/silver interior.

It's going to be awesome with the Carbon trim!

Working on the blue/purple paint sample pictures now.

Hopefully these pictures show the paint change given a change of angles with the sun.

That's amazing! Thank you for posting these. The color really shines.

When you guys were deciding on colors how long did it take overall? How many colors did you want that didn't make the list?

  4. #104
It took a solid 2-3 days of constant viewing in the sunshine, shade, inside under fluorescent lighting, etc.

We started with an outline of the basic shades we wanted in each series, then spent the time viewing all the individual colors in each shade.

We would pick 4-5 individual colors, viewed each color in detail, then agree on a color.

What a great way to do it. I appreciate you letting us in on your process.

Have any of the colors looked better on the sample than the car itself?

All of the cars have looked better in person than the speed form or paint sample.

It's been a very awesome experience to go from the paint book, to the paint sample, to the speed form, to the actual car!

And what is crazy is how your eyes play tricks with your brain. You get the paint samples and speed form and think there is no way this is the color you are shooting for. You then go place the sample onto the car when it shows up and you realize that it is. It has to do with scale. The smaller paint chips and speed forms look darker than what you will perceive when the color is placed on a full size automobile. This makes it incredibly difficult to pick a color if all you have is the color book to start with.

Right on. The reason I ask is there was an odd colored off white GTS at the plant back in January. It did not look good but it was dimly lit where it was sitting.

The ACR with the Carbon accents should be killer, that color needs a bit of contrast.

It's been an exciting day at Gerry Wood! 5 cars received.

    One ACR... which is AVAILABLE!

Yorange ACR with Extreme Aero and Gunmetal GTS Stripes!

Other 4 cars include one of our ACR Solid Editions- Pearl Yellow color.... Which is AMAZING!

2 Snakeskin Editions (Non-ACR), and a Black ACR Extreme Aero.

    Pics below!

Yeah I agree it's a beautiful color. In the pics it almost looks like a matte color but the video shows the paint much better. Not only does it appear to change colour depending on lighting but it really does look very glossy at certain angles and distance but also matte-like as well.

It definitely has the matte-like sheen look! The pictures only do this car 1/2 justice.

that yellow, reminds me on my pearl yellow lambo, but better.

Looks like selections are getting limited. 39 vipers left in your stock. 100 sold in just a couple months. The Yellow Pearl just looks damn good.
