That car is beautiful!
That car is beautiful!
gw= stop it, dont tease me.![]()
Well that didn't take long! This car is now sold.
Not surprised. Great color combo!
Cold and Bored at work today- figured I would revisit one of the most "colorful threads" I could remember- it seems like just yesterday that "colorful" Vipers were being produced and delivered-I "MISS" the excitement!
Talk about disappeared off the face of the earth. GWV.
I take it they sold them all?
last car was my favorite...killer.
Maybe GWV has moved on to create a limited edition run of Dodge Journeys or Grand Caravans that we can all gush over.
Those will be for sale for a loooooong time at those prices!
Barrett Jackson... send it!
Surprised GWV didn’t continue this thread, or at least posting. They very much became part of this community and kept things fun with the delivery pics and videos. They sell used Vipers from time to time. Should have stuck around. Looks like they ghosted this forum right after the last new Viper was sold. That really was a fun and exciting time.
That gold one has been for sale almost constantly since GW sold it originally. It was the very last one they had I believe. Seems like a real stretch calling it a “special edition” but that’s hyperbole I guess. The 80-100K over going prices might be an issue though.

I’m not surprised. It was a smart business move but now that they’re gone they couldn’t give a shit about Viper, it’s history, or the remaining community. They duped how many people into buying their “special editions” like they mean anything. And how many people did they take order slots from who were waiting to order something the last year exactly as they wanted it? At one time some here even tried to liken them to the big 3 Viper dealers, what a joke.
While so many on this forum praised this dealer for buying up the allotments available, I saw them as the opportunist they were. Making up a bunch of non special editions and taking away the ability for us to order what we really wanted and then dropping off the face of the earth. Shows they were just your typical car dealer who could car less about buyers and only care for there pocketbook.. They never had the integrity of Roanoke or Woodhouse.
You guys are all funny... who would ever think a business would do whatever they could to generate business.
Dont go blaming your own failure on some one else. Especially a Dealer that did not hesitate to put up millions to ensure that all the Vipers that could be built were.
If you were dealing with a competent Dealer or were at least serious in actually buying a brand new car you would've placed the order and had 2-4 weeks to easily change the color or options. When I bought mine in 2015 the Canadian order bank had already closed and was closed for just over a week. I dealt with a competent Dealer and they were still able to secure my order even when 2 BIG Viper dealers said there was no way.
