So I've narrowed down my search brackets... It needs narrowing down further but I think I'll use this as a sort of notepad for my thoughts.
I really like the sound of owning a Gen I or II, I'm only ever going to use the car for fun drives when I feel the need to enjoy the car. From what I've read, the Gen II is the best for raw and enjoyable driving, and the later models begin to become refined.
One thing I'm unsure of, is the decision between a Gen II and a Gen III. They appear to be very much the same price bracket, so that's something I'll need to consider.
I think I'm sold on the coupe too, then Gen I convertibles (and am I right in thinking the Gen II looks exactly the same) really don't do much for me... Although the Gen III convertibles are nice, mainly because of the lack of pillar above the seats.
Anyway, here's a car close to my parents home which I may look at towards the end of the month. I don't know if the price is reasonable, but the seller isn't taking a part exchange which makes it trickier to buy.
