For a slightly modded car you'll probably be just fine with a LUK clutch. I bought a kit a few years ago under $300 shipped.

Stock LUK is all you need. Probably good for up to 700HP. I got my last slave from Autozone. Lifetime warranty.

call toddy at bad Boyz Garage.... his units range from mild to wild... as for the t/o brg... buy his billet set up... while the auto parts stores may have a lifetime warranty tell that to the guy stuck on the side of the road or in the garage pulling his tranny about that warranty.... why plan for failure, better to eliminate it.... and NO this isn't a paid commercial,, lol just a happy customer

    Thanks guys, you rock!!

Okay, I prefer stock parts as far as possible. Thank you Steve about the slave/master info. I had no idea at Mopar would stock these any more, Thank you for tip!

1996RT, while you likely already know this, I will still recommend that you order parts for your car using your VIN. This is really important for either of the two 1996 Vipers...which are totally different cars. As a cross check, I have the parts department guy show me the part for a 1995 Viper at the same time as MOST of a 96 R/T 10 is a Gen I. I move to a cross check of a 96 GTS when seeking parts for a 96 GTS. You would be amazed to see how much confusion exists on Model year 1996...at least in my 21 years of ownership.

Using an online Mopar parts site, I see the clutch slave cylinder listed as part number 5037357AB for around $282.00. After a trip to my local Viper friendly dealer, they quote $320.00 retail which would be $272.00 to a VOA Member. The clutch master cylinder for your car has a part number listed as 4642666 (later years have "AB" added to part number) for between $192.00 and $242.00...and I can't figure out the why of that price swing. Dealer tells me retail price is $275.00 which would be $234.00 to a VOA Member.

Sorry I didn't get this posted sooner for you...but I hope it still helps !!

I'd buy the cylinders (master and/or slave) from LUK. They are OEM but cost a lot less than than coming in a Mopar branded box.

Fitted loads of these over the years now....

All I can say is Mopar fit and work first time no bleeding as there pre pressurised ..

The after market Masters I have fitted ,some don't come with the braided line so you need to swap them over. One or two have leaked at that point where the pin goes in due to slack.

Also a few after market Slaves have been a real pain to bleed up...
