Could not get this to add as attachment. Please go to Jegs.com and type in part C5113-051. Also read the overview on this product. Seems like a great deal to me. Any input appreciated.

This is why I was hoping that I would get more responses to my question. I was hoping someone would look at these and tell me if they were right for a stock Gen1.
Here's what I can tell you;
JEGS is selling a head gasket they do not have the right to sell. The Gen-1 head gaskets are OUR product [among others], which *we* paid to develop, and to add insult to injury, it is a price-controlled item and they are selling under MAP policy... which no one is happy about either. Cometic may be our manufacturer, but the only reason they exist is because we paid nearly 25 grand in production costs to make it happen back in 2008. They ended up listed on JEGS and in other online warehouses due to an oversight, which is currently being corrected at Cometic. This is also one small part of the overall upgrade package, the rest of which is NOT listed with the online retailers and only we sell directly.
Support the vendors that support you. If it wasn't for us, Mopar would still be gouging you for $900 each.

That's a slap in the 🥜 for sure, Dan. Sounds like Cometic dropped the 🏀 big time. These online retailers are a mixed blessing depending which side of the aisle one is standing. I wasn't aware that production costs could be that much. Great food for thought. And a great reason why one should support the specialty vendors. I don't mind supporting the little guys but I also appreciate competition in the marketplace as it strives to keep everyone honest. But I'm 100% in your court on this one.
Unfortunately they were in the case of the Gen-1. The plates & jigs used for embossing had to be made especially for the Gen-1, as they do not use a common coolant port layout like the Gen-2+ allowing the same embossing plates to handle all other variations. Basically, the production costs for Gen-1 were spread over (4.5) production years, where the other set was spread over 21 years... huge difference overall in ROI. In other words, we took the hit personally on Gen-1 as they were not at all interested in taking the risk on their own.
