CAAP open to public?

I've seen a few members post their factory delivery experience. Is the factory open for public tours yet? I'll be in Michigan 2/14-2/18 and would love to tour the plant again (toured when I was 15) now that I actually own a Viper.

I tried to book a tour through there a few months ago when in Detroit and was told the following:

- Must have min 8 people
- Must provide names of the 8 people 2 weeks in advance to them for clearance
- They may still not allow you to go through on your chosen date if it doesn't work with their schedule


I told them my thoughts on their 8 person rule when I spoke with them. I don't know how many people traveling through can pull together 7 more people for them to go with. By the way the rules are, I would be better to stand in the CAAP hood and ask 7 locals if they would like to see what is in there.

You may want to check with staff on scheduling , there is more hoops to go through , compared to 10 years ago .
