Hi,
I'm in the market to buy a 1992-1995 Viper. I searched, without success. Can you lock the doors on these cars? How?
Hi,

The doors are able to be locked. You use the keyfob to lock them.
I have a 94 the key fob is only used to set the security alarm which I disconnected. I have had convertibles in the past and never locked the doors feeling if someone wants in they will cut the top or break a window. Get one they are fun
It's part of the charm
Gen 1 door locks work to keep them from flying open if you are bouncing around in an accident.
The Gen 1 Viper do have door locks...but they are manual locks operated from the inside. The Fob (as mentioned above) only sets the alarm. I find the manual locks another part of the Gen 1 charm.
If memory serves, locks were mandated in all cars...
At some point in my '96 RT's past...a door popper was installed on the driver's door. By the time I got the car, it had been disconnected. I hooked it up to work when the key fob turns off the security system..same as it would unlock the doors in a vehicle with electric locks. The security system is shared with (again, if memory serves) the Sebring convertible.
