    Tire decision: M & H vs MT

Which do you guys prefer for the drag strip? NA Gen 2 with 600 rwhp. I am getting some 18" wheels and want either Mickey Thomspon or M&H drag radials. Both are 345/35/18. Currently a 3.55 gear. Possibly going with a 3.73 to make up for the taller tire. What do you guys think?

I run 345/35 -18 Kumho V710 on the street with 3:55 gears. Love the combo. I'm sure either tire choice will be more tire than you need. My only experience was with M&H tires years ago on a Camaro, and they hooked hard........ I ran Sport Cup tires when they were available, they were 26.2" OD I believe and I was going through the traps at redline in fourth. Went with the taller tire to pull fourth gear a bit longer, but never made it to the strip.

Completely irrelevant to a GenII but I ran the M&H drag radials on one of my SRT 10 Rams and really like them. I was running the 390's on a 17" rim, clearly I know those are way too big for the car but definitely a great tire.
