Bobby s Gen IV SRT Coupe PICS

Guys I had a VERY eventful weekend! The weather out here on the east coast has been incredible and many of us are experiencing spring fever, so on Saturday I planned on getting out and taking pics of whatever came my way. One of my good friends and former New Jersey Region Viper Club President Bobby C. reached out and wanted some shots of his car, as within a few weeks an Orange TA ACR will be moving in to replace his Gen IV coupe! (I'll be getting pics of that too!)

Yes, the car features the Gen V GTS-R front fascia that Tim came up with. This was the first time I had seen it in person myself and it's actually pretty incredible looking. Bobby also does a little track time every now and then, so this car is no rookie around Pocono Raceway. GTS Blue with Black stripes isn't found to often either as this is the only other combo I've seen on this car other than the one that was apart of the SRT Track Experience in 2009.

The location of choice was a pretty cool little barn of a bar called the Great Notch Inn, so my immediate thought was to give this shoot a little Western flair with the editing. I think it worked out nicely and the car looks pretty sharp. Check out the pics and stay tuned for another thread tonight! I had the opportunity to shoot four Gen V's yesterday (Bryan's TA, Mike's GT, Eugene's ACR, and Joe's ACR-E. All different colors!) and it was pretty wild. Viper season is just getting started!

Not to be a Debby Downer, but he was over at the VCA. And all I remember from him is that he liked to fly out to FCA on everyone else's dime, then come back and would not be able to tell us anything. While he may be a "good friend" there were plenty of others who had a different experience. We would hold meetings or gatherings and he would always show up late and if the gathering was in the central or south, never. For many of us, he was the reason that the NJ club went to heck. For those of us in central or south Jersey, we could all go to hell. Just pay your dues so he can do more free travel. The furthest he made it south was Allentown NJ. Now that I live down in Texas, it takes 2 hours to get anywhere. In 2 hours, you cover most of NJ. He could never be bothered, though.

The NY and NYC guys were much better to hang out with.

I am happy he likes his new Viper. I am also happy that he has to pay for his own flights.

On a more pleasant note, your photography is good. Would love to see your work with the Gen V material. As far as a western theme, not much you can do when you have a bunch of drainage pipes laying in people's yards or snow. Perhaps you could get out to the real west and take your talents to greater lengths. Some really great scenery outside of Totowa NJ. The urban decay genre only goes so far.

hes a tool but the car is sexy. Drove by that place the other day and thought it would be perfect to snap pics, guess i was right. Nice job !

Please, don't try to "out Jersey" me with your pathetic language in your post. Your reputation goes before you. I have plenty of "Right on!" messages from people who fully agree with my opinion. Was nice to see them. Thanks to all! Some even openly comment for you to see. I am sorry that you are not as important or popular as you think you are. You are just going to have to accept that fact that not everyone likes everyone else.

As far as you not flying on the VCA dime......I guess everyone can say....."Thanks? for not using assets inappropriately". Only you know for sure. The flight information and its immediate need was what you reported at the event in West Jersey one year where you went to great lengths to discuss that you were involved in "discussions" in Detroit that could not be made public and made it a point to tell everyone, table by table. "It was urgent" but could not discuss anything. You were, in fact, late for the event and things did not kick off without you because the politeness of the crowd. Everyone was at the event tables like......hmmmmmmmm...........this is very odd. What was the whole point of this? You created the perceptions........I am reporting what you did and said.

Again, if you ever made it down to the southern part of the state, that is news to me. We even had guys drive from NYC down to the Crab Fest in MD. Had a group of us go every year. You never came. We had a gathering at McGuire AFB in the center part of the state. Lots of people showed up. You did not. (I still think it is the largest viewed event in the VCA in the NJ section). We also had some car shows in the center part of the state. Again, you never came but were the head. Why? In retrospect, I stand by my support of the guys in NYC over NJ (with some exceptions). They were always great to hang with without the drama. Willing to drive and be part of a car club. Have fun. Not make a scene.

Lastly, regarding your comments on Texas. I am glad that you realize that things are bigger in Texas. Since I have experience in both Texas and in your area, I can confidently say that Texas far surpasses New Jersey on several fronts. New Jersey is not the center of the world and maybe you should experience some things outside of your area. The food is better, the people are nice and there is no income tax. The state may just be large enough to contain some people's egos.......Just sayin......
