Smile New owner 2013 Viper GTS with Track Pack

Hi all, my name is Gary. I'm a long time Viper fanatic and finally the proud owner of a 2013 GTS w/Track Package. I purchased this car from Woodhouse a few weeks ago, I flew out from Virginia to take a look at the car and it was love at first sight. The car arrived to my house on Wednesday of last week and can't wait to get it out on the road. I had been looking for an Adrenaline red with two-tone black and tan interior, and for a while have been saving up to purchase a Viper GT since they came with the tan seats and black interior. But then I saw this gem on Woodhouse's website, and I knew this was the car for me. The two-tone interior was even better looking then what I have seen in the GT's. I've never seen the mix of black and tan on the doors, center console, and the stitching on a Viper before, it's absolutely perfect for me. Bill and the staff at Woodhouse were phenomenal. Getting to know Bill and everyone there you could really feel the passion they have for their business and specifically the Viper. I was very happy and satisfied with the entire experience, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new car. I get the feeling the original owner of this car is still a member here on the forums No worries original owner, the car is in good hands.

Thanks again to Bill and Mark and everyone at Woodhouse for the great experience in purchasing my first Viper!
    Gary

Congrats. Can't go wrong with a red track pack car. Although I might be biased....

I also bought my car from Bill, he is the man!

Enjoy. Please keep an eye on your oil level. I assume passed R28, etc, since they wouldn't sell it to you unless they could.

Nice, looks like it was a previous members car with the VOA windshield banner.

That is a beautiful Viper. I have a 2014 Adrenalin Red GTS with the track pack, but my interior is black. It is very nice, but your color combination is dynamite. I have put nearly 10,000 miles on mine in a year and I am sure you will see how comfortable the Gen V is to drive. Good luck with getting some good weather to do some trips.

Very cool, congratulations! That car belonged to a PA/WV member who traded up to a GTC TA 2.0. Great car!

..................I am pretty sure that VOA sticker helped Gary buy the car . I mean, heck, it looks so good on the window and just blends into that beautiful Adrenaline Red paint!!!

That's impressive! I've put 4400 miles on mine in the almost 2 1/2 years I've owned it. It's been in the garage on a tender for 7 weeks now, due to our crappy weather and roads. But, hopefully will change this weekend - supposed to hit 60, so hopefully will get her out of hibernation!

Gary, congrats again on the car, and try and get it out this weekend and get a feel. Just let those tires warm up!

So I just put the temp stickers on the car tonight and took it for a short stint out on the street. This car is like doing meth. I want to drive it again tonight, it's calling me. I'm trying to pack for my trip this weekend and I can't get it out of my mind.

That is exactly how I feel about mine. I HATE not driving it. If I wasn't a dog groomer, it would be my DD, but I don't want dog hair transfer, YIKES! (I don't even own a dog) Your car is a real beauty. Congrats and be safe.

I totally agree! I finally got mine fired up and on the road today here in Nebraska. It was 67 degrees and I just needed to get her on the road. Driving a Viper is definitely addictive. It's especially hard for those of us in the central US that have to deal with winter and storing our snakes for months at a time.
    Congrats on the Viper. Enjoy!

Fingers crossed, plan is for mine to come out tomorrow, after 7 weeks on the battery tender! Can't wait!

I took it out again late last night when no one was on the road. It was too addicting not to. This car is truly the most insane thing I've ever driven in my life, in a very, very good way. I was not expecting the stock exhaust to be so loud, and I was planning on putting headers on it. I don't think that will be necessary lol.

Glad you're enjoying it! They are quite addictive.

Bill, that sticker added like $5 to the value, I'm sure you explained that was yet another option that was jam packed into that sale!

Nice choice, and totally agree with what you said about the new Gens. Glad you're enjoying.

Check out your local region and consider joining the club. Nothing is better that joining a group of people with the same joy for the car and having some fun in a group.

    Enjoy and have fun!

Congratulations! A stunning beauty you have. Be sure to have a co-pilot with you, from time to time, so they can tell you how many people are looking at you. One day on a ride this guy turned his head so fast I thought he was to paralyze himself. I could see his mouth move and he said "OMG that's a Viper".
Just curious : do you have an idea of what you will say on your license plate?
    Enjoy!

I had always planned to get a Gen 2 GTS, that was the dream. But other priorities had to come first, like a house with a garage to put it in. I literally bought a house with the intent of putting a Viper in it one day lol. All life decisions have circulated around this car haha.

So for years I was looking at the Gen 2 Vipers, specifically the 2002 Final Edition Viper red with white stripes. But then this Gen 5 came out...the design of this car is absolutely intoxicating. It's just so sexy, like a cross between a Gen 2 and a Ferrari. My car before this was a Brazen Orange 2006 Pontiac GTO (6-speed), and I thought I was really going to miss that car. But all of that is erased now that I have driven the Viper. Man I can't stop thinking about it.

License plate is difficult. I'm thinking "BAD SNK" for now, but I still haven't decided.

Haha you think that's hard to deal with?!?! Try having to park your car for 6-7 months out of the year!!! But once she comes out from hibernation, that's just like pure heaven!!

I think the VOA may have only added $5 in value ( since that is the decal cost, ha), but the intrinsic value , knowing the first owner was a knowledgeable , forthright, Viperholic, made me realize I left a lot of money on the table ----he even has a nice round VOA sticker on the back window, ha.

Always nice for a one owner car, from a really good guy , to go to another just as passionate.
