    2006 Wheel Cleaning

This is my 1st post so if I don't follow protocol, let me know! This is my 1st Viper and I need to know the safest products/procedures to use on the wheels of my 2006 VCA Edition Coupe. This car has never seen rain and has been very well maintained and I want to keep it looking new. Suggestions are welcomed! I'm also interested in possibly having the same set of wheels in black for regular use if anyone is interested in off-loading a nice set.

I like/use Griots products. Wet the wheels, spray product on the wheels, scrub off with a sponge, and spray off.

    Also...Congrats on the car!

If I recall the wheels are bare polished aluminum, so you want to be careful what you use as to not to dull the finish and not to pit the aluminum. Warm soap and water ought to do the trick

I only recommend soap and water for all wheels. And I sell wheels. I don't trust any wheel cleaners on the market. I also use a microfiber cloth to wash my wheels, it picks up the brake dust better than a sponge or mitt.
