The 9 0L Stroker is now available for sale

I know that I have had quite a few customers asking about the 9.0L stroker builds and when they would be available.

We just recieved word that they are rolling out after finally having some time to get some street miles on the motor. Power gains are "roughly" 60 rwhp on top of a standard stage 2 Heads and Cam Package, and an additional 75ftlbs of torque over the stage II package with significant gains under the curve throughout the power band.

Pricing is going to be similar to the Stage II packages to get a ballpark amount out there.

Please send me an email if interested.

    awheeler@viperexchange.com

I will be happy to go into further detail via email or here but wanted to get this on the forum. I have a few customers already on the list so let me know.

BTW I respond quicker to emails than PM's

Dynos are dynos but on average we are making 660 SAE with some a little higher and some a little lower so add 60 to that number.

I was hoping for a little more "umph!" in the presentation of this new upgrade. Pictures? Charts? Data? Anything?

Still getting data out, but we just recieved more info. It will be coming shortly. Feel free to email me as well.

On a stock engine, about +50 lb-ft and + 30 hp with improvements across the rpm range, particularly in the driving range.

I know that Dick and Lee have been working together on this for quite some time, very happy for them and the work they have put into Viper all of these years.

Will the rest of the drive train be OK after having this done? Any further mods needed?

Andy, that is a GREAT price for a killer setup. You guys have pushed me over the edge shopping for a Gen 5 now.

Can the 9.0 (with no other mods) be run with the stock PCM and not throw engine codes?

Soooo... this is 920hp? If it's 800 to the wheels?

$24k for installed stage 2 and 9.0L kit?

    660 + 60 = 720

Stock clutch is holding fine from a roll and my Blue car had no problems with the stage 2 build, but I would strongly suggest switching to the Triple carbon from Nth if you want to feel great in any sort of dig environment. We are a disty for those clutches and usually have one or two on the shelf.

We are working that out as we speak. We have a call later today to discuss.

Can't wait to see what you get and what you do with it. I wish I could have kept my Gen IV ACR, but who knows maybe I'll get to pick up another one in the future.

I would suspect that you will have to have a calibration from Arrow at the least, but they are typically included in the cost of the package. So yes factory ECU and no codes, but not OEM factory calibration.

No this will be around 710-720 wheel I would suspect on average with some being higher and some being lower depending on header brand, cats no cats, and of course what dyno, dyno standard, and correction factor is used. As for the kit price all together that is still being worked out at this time.

I would be interested - if it's not too late hold up on stage 2.

Price a Gen 4 block stage 2 & 9L stroker and I keep the original engine and use it as a boat anchor or a table base

Or using the block and upgrading to stage 2 9L - depending on cost to gain 50hp.

    But isn't the stage 2 already making 740? I'm talking stage 2 and 9.0L

  23. #23
^ You are confusing crank and wheel hp numbers.

  24. #24
I bet we will see this putting 760+ to the wheels with some NA combos.

    Ok sorry.
So we are talking 800 crank if it's 60hp more than a stage 2.
