I say why not! Unless Dodge put that TA sticker on during assembly yours has just as much of a place being on there. But I have major OCD with re-badging cars, I think it's from my younger years when friend's base model Camaro, Firebird, and Mustang became SSs, Trans Ams, and Cobras overnight. Its a frequent topic with my shrink, I'm glad to say the eye twitching has gone down!

LOL. It's what I would of done with it from the factory if it were my call. I think I'd remove the TA if I owned it and just replaced when time to sell if it made a difference.

What is kind of crazy is this is actually named after a 'downgraded' gen 5. It's like sticking a GT badge on a Mustang Cobra. I still like it, but maybe name "Header Orange Edition" and only the ACR badge makes more sense?.....meh. What do I know?!

Maybe I'm being defensive about my lowly Track Pack car, but IMO, there is no such thing as a "downgraded" Viper. Even the lowliest base model is a highly capable performance car, that will run with the best out there. Flame suit on....!!!

I like it a lot minus double badging. That really bothers me and if I was a rich person like 90% of these guys and had the opportunity to order a new car I'd have someone over there make me 2 custom badges, or just keep the TA only. I rather round down than up. That's me tho and I might have OCD

Like them or not 2 badges are what is going to make these 10 future collectibles at the auction block IMO.

A race weekend for me is $1500-3,000, depending on a lot of variables, if it's a double header, if I get love tapped, etc. That's with hoosiers and steel on a true race designed chassis. For a track rat truly tracking an ACR, and there are guyson here who can testify to this, driving at 99%, the cost of tires and CCMs in a season ... well, you could buy another race car for that. Guys who think CCMs will last a long time aren't 99% drivers on track, no dig there, it's just what it is. The wheel/tire/brake combo is exactly what I'd do if I were ordering an ACR, but my singular focus on that would be tracking. They've really applied racer logic and experience, and in my old dog long viper guy opinion, nailed the true absolute viper in this model. Kudos to Dodge for letting them do something so unique - should've been a model from Dodge as an option, as Bill and I had joked about a while back in terms of an ACR/SRT combo.

Some won't get it, which is cool, just like some don't get a drivers stripe being a 'special edition', or paint color being a dealer edition, but others do and vice versa, so it's awesome Dodge and these great dealers are doing all these options to make everyone happy, it's all subjective. Plus all the other performance news posted yesterday, you'd never know this beast is ending production with all this excitement, new performance options and dealer ingenuity, even Dodge getting into it. It's a shame it's not 3 years ago.
I went through my first set of CCM's in 2,000 miles - 500 street miles to break in car, 400 miles messing about, 1,100 miles on track. Nom Nom.

Without proper full documentation, in the future, these cars will cause a ton of confusion. A non numbered TA with ACR package. Doesn't even make sense.

This is like saying "yeah I have a superleggera trofeo SV countach"

This window sticker only notes the ACR badge. Can a Woodhouse rep comment on where the TA sticker was applied? Because based on that window sticker anyone could have optioned this car out like they did. Again, don't get me wrong kudos to Woodhouse for doing this in TA Orange. I'd just like a definitive answer on what the official Model is as it rolled off the assembly line.

Why would they be without proper documentation ? Anyone buying one will keep all the paperwork for it I am sure. These 10 will be known for many years to come. They are certainly numbered as well....just not like the TA's.

Woodhouse is not going anywhere anytime soon and a quick check with them as far as authenticity will confirm that it is one of the few (or not)

It's not that hard to reach out to them. I did yesterday and received the answers I was looking for.

OK, I'll ask, did the valve covers and x-brace get painted pre or post delivery to Woodhouse?

I really like these cars by the way.

So it's an ACR painted orange... with a TA sticker?
I'm just trying to wrap my head around this.

not quite. It's an ACR-E with different interior, a different paint scheme, and brake and wheel components are different from the factory.

I'm glad FCA allowed Woodhouse to make a car like this straight from the factory and it's no surprise they are sold out already.
Viper owners have been clamoring for CCB's for many years, I'd hardly call them a waste or "things that are not needed". Venom V has tracked both and the CCB's were noticeably better, he has commented on that before and he certainly knows. Not knocking the tire choice advantage but lets not get carried away like CCB's are now a bad thing lol.

I certainly wouldn't say they are not needed either. But from my understanding, most people that track their cars on a regular basis have converted the CCB's because they are always out of stock and cost a fortune to replace. That would be 2 strong factors as to why regular track rats have converted. But yes if you were going for the best time or trying to set a record then CCB's would be the better option.

Aren't the brakes the base ACR brakes? Base ACR and TA have the same brakes. So when they went with the other interior, that "deselected" the CCB upgrade.

Brilliant marketing on their part though.
