New Rims and Tires for the ACR

Had a set of ADV1 rims made for the ACR. 19" fronts 20" rears.
I went with the ADV5TS rims and Toyo Proxy T1R's, I've seen nothing but good reviews on them unfortunalty they decided to "discontinue" them..... Go figure... Anyway here are some pictures, I won't be getting them on the Viper until Spring, ill have to post some pictures of how it looks when I get them on. I definitely want to give a big thanks to David @ Fabspeed Motorsport's with hooking me up with these. Apparently he said his shipping guy that has a Z06 stopped in his shop today and saw one of the rear tires and was jealous of how "big it" was lol
    Tire sizes are:
    275/30R19 fronts
345/25R20 rears (don't know if 355's would fit)

After seeing the matte black rims I'm kinda wondering if I should gone that route instead of the gloss black. Regardless that's minor and can be changed.

I'm definitely keeping the gloss black for a while, if not for good.

Love that beautiful shiny finish. Just had a set of CCW's 550's done in gloss black and love 'em. Just finished polishing and waxing mine and getting ready to apply a red pinstripe around the lip before installing them

Cool wheels!! The matte would be cool, but that is why it is YOUR CAR!

I ordered the rims and then noticed in the ADV1 gallery that RSI built a viper and used the same rims but in matte black. I'm excited to see how the gloss black looks. Here's the 2009 Viper RSI did, I'm sure many of you have already seen it.

I don't have the weight of the stock ACR rims and tires or the weight of the ADV1 rims and tires... yet.... I'm going to get the weight of the ADV1's tomorrow. So I'll definitely post that ASAP, the stock tire and rim weight is probably online somewhere but I won't be able to weigh those until spring when I get my car back and actually swap the rims

And another PA owner good stuff! Hope to meet you this year!

I have the weight for the ADV1 rims with the Toyo Proxy T1R tires. Hopefully soon this weather will get better soon so that I can get these put on my car.
    I don't have the weights for the stock rims and tires ,but these ones are;

    Fronts- 56lbs
    Rears- 71 lbs
    Total- 254 lbs

So they aren't real light lol

ADV.1 are IMHO the most cutting edge wheels out there at the moment in terms of style and the ability to customize to your application. I can't speak to quality as I don't own a set (yet) but I'd imagine they are every bit as nice if not nicer than the other high end manufacturers, ie. HRE, Iforged, 360forged, etc. I hope to own a set some day on my ACR.

We sell all the brands you mentioned. ADV1 are certainly nice. Quality on each of them is similar, pricing varies a lot depending on brand label. These shown are some of the heaviest forged wheels, due to their deep concave profile (which requires thicker spokes, thicker bolted ring, to handle the loads). They also make some lighter series', which are more performance focused.

    Tony,
Thanks for letting me know. I was on their website the other day and with some models they have no less than 6 versions in varying stages of weight reduction and street vs. strip flavors. I want these exact wheels in the link below. I'm not sure what the "CS" stands for as this wheel is different than all the other ADV5.0 pics in their gallery on all the other cars both in spoke design and profile. If you can figure out exactly what this one is and shoot me a price, that would be great. Maximum concave on rear and gloss black barrels, satin black centers, 19/20's. If you can get carbon wrapped centers and gloss black barrels, even better...though I think 360forged are the only ones doing that among those listed above.

I think the gloss goes better with your color combination. They will look killer on that car.

Yes this has taken forever lol. My wife and i are in the midst of buying land for a new house so I had my Viper in the local Quaker Steak & Lube for 4 months during winter, and I just got it back Saturday. Anyway, I just took some quick pix with my iPhone and slightly edited them.... My good camera decided to take a dump on me -.- . My buddy is going to get some more professional ones tomorrow tho. Also, hopefully I'll be getting the tails done tomorrow as well (probably after the pictures tho lol). I love the new look, and am definitely happy with my decision on these rims.
