Like you guys had any doubt. ;.)

Wayne and D are stone cold killers when it comes to owning vipers and doing the auctions.

It went to a great cause!

But wow, $215,000. I was expecting it to end in the 150s.

I was watching the auction online and everything seamed to be going cheap. Needless to say i was scared the viper wouldnt go for anything close to what it should, but im very happy with these results! Congratulations on a new very special viper Wayne! It couldnt have gone to a better place

Oh it happened!! By the way in case anyone was interested SRT will be doing a ride and drive in Scottsdale with the Viper at the Fairmont Hotel I guess. I'm not sure why they aren't telling anyone but D'anne and I would like to tell everyone go drive a new viper!!!

That's just awesome congrats, I am a newbie to the viper community, do they have a museum or just collect them? What's the story?

My understanding is the fairmont hotel front entrance valet is where they will be from 10 to 4 Thursday til this Sunday! I'm not sure why they are keeping it so low key?

D'anne and Wayne are two of the nicest most genuine people I know! The Viper has been their passion for years and they just love the car and the people who build them at SRT. They keep all of the cars at their home in east Texas. DriveSRT.com has a video of the story! If you go to any upcoming event and get the chance to meet them you will quickly understand how down to earth these two are. And the best part is, they want the whole world to experience a Viper.

I'd love to see some prowlers while I'm in AZ! I seen a few truckloads of them go buy the auction on the 101, are they getting together in Phoenix?

They might, kinda short notice... There are quite a few Prowlers in PHX... Some have or do own Vipers... It would be kinda cool for a few of them to drop by...

Makes me wonder how many folks the Rauh's need in order to maintain their fleet of Vipers. Maybe only a few Vipers are driven and the rest are mothballed?

Glad to see the Rauh's get this Viper. It is really elegant.

I believe the video from egarage said they drive them on a rotating schedule...

BUT let me be the first to offer up the driving services of the VOA Mod team... Its a tough job, but someone has to do it!
D'Ann & Wayne feel free to PM any mod team member to schedule one of the many perks of VOA membership services.
