    Factory wheels weight

    Any guru's out there know where all the factory wheels stand in regards to weight? Not only am I curious for my own intensions, would be really cool to know them all from the lightest to heaviest. I currently have the H-Spoke which are personally my favorite factory GenIV wheels but I suspect they're heavy. I am planning on going with SWII's at some point and would also love to know the difference in weight between the two.

    Thank you! Very informative! I would still like to know what my wheels weigh and also if anyone has ever taken the time to make or keep track of all of them.

    More info here:

    SWII are the lightest OEM wheels AFAIK. SW and 6 spoke are also light. Gen IV H Spoke / 5 spoke are near the heaviest (speaking for Gen IV / V only)

    Thanks Doug! Not to discriminate against other but do you know for a fact what the SWII's weigh in at? I've read a couple different weights posted for them and I'd like to know which is correct. I know how thorough you always seem to be with everything and I'll take your word as fact. Again no offense to anyone else but a few minutes of reading and have found different answers. One thing I do know is that I need to shed these pigs.....

    Thank you, but no I have not had them across my scales. One thing that seems to be sure is that if you like the looks of them they by consensus seem to be the lightest OEM wheels out there, followed by the original Sidewinders and 6 spokes (from memory). On my Gen IV I went to the 6 spokes and had them powder coated because at the time it was quite a bit more economical than the SWII but that is no longer really the case. I also liked the look of the 6 spoke best and they are easier to clean.

    While you are at it consider upgrading to the stop tech rotors for another huge weight drop (9 lbs per wheel front; 6.9 lbs per wheel rear). And maybe some of the titanium lug nuts I'm getting ready to make available for another ~.3 lbs per wheel.

    HAHA, I already have a list going after combing those threads that were provided. I could definitely benefit a huge amount from ditching the H-spoke's and going with Stop Tech's. That would shed approximately 67 lbs of rotating mass. WOW! Will the titanium lug nuts be ET nuts? Curious as I will have to go with 3/8 spacers for the rear so the offsets look right with the SWII's on a GenIV.
