    Carfax Autocheck

I'm picking up a new daily driver this weekend and have a few reports left over for both carfax and autocheck if anyone needs one.

Recently bought a car, car fax was clean, auto check showed a small claim. So its worth pulling both. Of course the dealer only showed me the Carfax.

Martin2000GTS, a highly respected Viper expert suggested the same to me. If I remember correctly, Carfax may be better for service info and Autocheck may be better for damage info.

I would add that one should ask a trusted Chrysler dealer to also run the VIN...prefacing this request by stating the fact that you are not seeking the personal info of prior owners...which then should not give you due to the Federal Privacy Act. You would be amazed at just how many "anomalies" one can detect in this manner.
