Had the honor of spending 2 days with Dick. What a great guy and a true gear head! We were collecting some data for the arrow stage 2 package in Florida's heat. Wanted to get real world runs with flat foot shifting. We must of made over 25 pulls.

Is he still in South Florida? Awesome!
Paul, you got connections! Very cool.
Looks like a great opportunity ! He's definitely a class act and a wealth of knowledge !
What I want to know is how in the world you manage to fit into a Viper... You're taking working out to another level.
Must be nice talking to that dude for sure though, I'm sure I'd have just about 283840 questions
Hmmmm Detroit in the Winter or Miami Paul thanks for being such a good sport, and thanks for not killing him I know he got some great data for the Heads/Cam calibration.
Andy
that is awesome!
Very cool!
1) thats awesome
2) this forum is way more intersting with you here Paul!!
3) lookin jacked bro! Haha that or Dick needs a workout lol
Is Dick thinking about adding a no lift shift feature?
Man, wish I had known. I'm in central Florida and could have met up. I've also got the stage 2 heads and cam package. Glad you got to spend some time with him!
Did you have him build you a 300hp nitrous tune while he was there? lol
That is sooo cool!!!
Two points:
1). The first pic looks like you've kidnapped Dick with your tree trunk arms and he's posing for his ransom note.
2). That's the coolest ransom pic I've ever seen.
Thank you guys!! These are some pretty funny comments. LMAO!!!
He is such a down to earth guy. Had so many good conversations with him. I really enjoyed spending 2 days with him, whether it was in the car going 150mph or having dinner with him. I feel so lucky.
Hankfan. He did say he would build me a custom tune for nitrous, but I'm not going that route.
1.8t.No. No lift shift feature.

Man that's awesome!!!!
Wow very cool to be part of the development process!!
Dick is an amazing guy and a wealth of knowledge. We're very fortunate up here in Michigan to see guys like Dick, Herb, and Ralph on a regular basis.
I think Dick was just interested in what it felt like to ride in a Viper with the closest thing to an automatic transmission.
Hmm maybe Dick will pull less timing with temperature, one can hope
Dick is a genuine guy, humble , yet with a fantastic dry sense of humor many of us absolutely love!! Could not ask for a better gentleman to spend time with on your Viper and he will go down in the annals of Viper Lore as one of the truly great ones! All who really get to know him, love him!!! Sure you had a great time and cool to see him working on such cool stuff for the Snake.
